In the icy February, I photographed winter life on the streets of Biel. The series of six images captures the cold, snowy, and sometimes difficult atmosphere, showing a sequence of people wrapped in their clothing as they move through their daily routines.

Inspired by the work of street photographer Saul Leiter, I worked with foreground elements that appear blurred, directing the viewer’s attention to the sharply focused subject in the background. I also experimented with long exposures. The result is abstract, calm, yet hectic snapshots that reflect winter life in the city.
